  • Ryan Roberts (Solo English horn, New York Philharmonic; Principal oboe, Festival Orchestra of Lincoln Center)

30 private lessons per year supplement a comprehensive “Oboe Class” curriculum which covers orchestral, solo and etude repertoire, as well as reed making, oboe adjusment/repair, and training on the English horn. A robust “Wind Orchestra” class, conducted by Judith Mendenhall and Ryan Roberts, covers the most important wind repertoire.

  • Ryan Roberts (English horn/oboe, New York Philharmonic)

26 private lessons per year supplement a comprehensive “Oboe Class” curriculum which covers orchestral, solo and etude repertoire, as well as reed making, oboe adjustment/repair, and training on the English horn. The oboe faculty functions as a team, and each student will receive instruction from all of the teachers.
